ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT CONSIDERATION

Spinal cord injury survivors experiencing paraplegia or quadriplegia as a result of a traumatic event.

Letter from a physician, medical practitioner/therapist, hospital, clinic or other medically related facility, or insurance company verifying the nature (type) and cause of injury.

US citizenship with verification.

Documentation of financial need.

Request for a specific item or service such as:

Therapeutic recovery/exercise center program
-
Therapeutic equipment
-
Assistive Technology
-

Applicant has not received a grant from the STPPPF previously within the calendar year.
GRANT GUIDELINES:

Priority will be given to applicants demonstrating the highest need along with their potential for greatest benefit and/or outcome.

Grants must be disbursed directly to acceptable/reputable suppliers of the desired equipment, modifications, or services.

Once a grant is approved, it must be used before the end of the current calendar year.

Individuals making the grant application are required to submit estimates or quotes from potential suppliers/vendors/therapeutic exercise centers.

The STPPPF may elect to make a recommendation for other funding sources which the applicant may wish to explore.
